Based on the provided renders, the vanilla Xiaomi 13 is suggested to sport a flat 6.2-inch display with a top-centred camera cutout. Surrounding the phone is a flat metal frame with the volume rocker and power/lock button situated on its right-hand side, while on the bottom is a USB-C port and a speaker grille. OnLeaks says this particular model measures in at around 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm. Shown on the back of the phone is a new square-shaped bump that houses a triple camera setup. As mentioned earlier, the leakster did not provide any details regarding the imaging system, so it’s unclear which sensors will be equipped on this setup. The same can be said regarding the rest of the model’s internal hardware, including its processor, memory configurations, and battery capacity. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is shown to sport a curved display that is said to measure at 6.65-inches, and features a top-centred cutout for its selfie camera. It’s worth noting that the suggested screen size conflicts with earlier information from fellow leakster, Yogesh Brar, who claims that the phone would feature a 6.7-inch display instead. Much like its smaller sibling, situated on its right-hand side is a volume rocker and the lock/power button, while at the bottom is a USB-C port and a speaker grille. The latter is expected to be part of the phone’s stereo audio system, with the other output source being the earpiece speaker that’s located on the upper bezel of the display. Besides that, the leakster says the entire phone measures roughly at 163 x 74.6 x 8.8 mm in dimensions. Moving on to the back, it is revealed that this variant would feature a large, protruding square-shaped camera bump on the top-left corner of its rear plate. It’s previously suggested by Brar that bump would house a triple shooter setup consisting of an 1-inch 50 MP Sony IMX 989 primary sensor, and two regular 50 MP sensors for ultra-wide and telephoto. In addition, he also claims that the system will be powered by Xiaomi’s new Surge C2 chip and comes with imaging enhancements developed by Leica. While its onboard chipset and RAM capacity were undisclosed, OnLeaks claims that the Pro variant will come with either 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage. Referring back to the earlier leak, Yogesh Brar says the phone would feature the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, up to 12 GB of RAM, and a 4,800 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It appears that the verdict is still out regarding the debut date for the Xiaomi 13 series, as both publications which OnLeaks collaborated with gave conflicting information. Provided that the company sticks with its usual launch window for its next-gen flagship phones in China this year, it is very likely that the event would happen in late December 2022.
