The keynote event will be taking place on 6 June at 1 AM (Malaysian time) and the entire conference itself will run until 9 June. It will show off iOS 17, iPadOS 17, tvOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS 14, with the actual updates most likely being rolled out sometime in September or October as per usual. Aside from software announcements, many speculate that the company is also planning on unveiling some much-hyped hardware. This includes the mixed-reality headset, which was apparently supposed to be revealed in April but got postponed, and possibly even a new Mac Pro and a 15-inch MacBook Air. It’s unlikely that we’ll see the rumoured lightweight AR glasses as they have reportedly been shelved. For the special in-person event, eligibility only extends to current Apple Developer Program members, Entrepreneur Camp alumni, Swift Student Challenge winners, and current Developer Enterprise Program members. Seats are limited, so those who wish to attend can request to do so from now until 4 April. Before 2020, WWDC used to be an in-person event held in San Jose but ever since the pandemic hit, Apple has shifted the conference to mostly online. Of course, this is advantageous as this format removes the limit of attendees capable of fitting inside a physical venue. As previously mentioned, the keynote event for WWDC will be live-streamed on 6 June at 1 AM. Apple has not confirmed exactly which platforms viewers can watch it on, but if we’re following precedent, it should be available on Apple’s YouTube page, event website, and the Apple TV app. (Source: Apple)
