The flagship status of the Magic5 and Magic5 Pro is driven by their Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. For the Pro variant, among the components that have been equipped into it is the 6.81-inch OLED LTPO display with curved edges alongside a native resolution of 2848 x 1312, 120Hz maximum refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming rate, and maximum brightness level of 1800 nits.
The Magic5 Pro in Malaysia also carries 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0-based 512GB internal storage as standard. For photography, the device relies on a 50MP primary camera as well as a 50MP ultra-wide camera and 50MP periscope telephoto camera that has 3.5x optical and 100x digital zoom capabilities. The new flagship phone has also been equipped with a 12MP selfie camera that is accompanied by a 3D depth camera. Completing the Magic5 Pro’s general hardware specification is a 5100mAh battery that supports HONOR SuperCharge technology with a power rating of up to 66W for wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Moving on to the vanilla Magic5, HONOR has provided it with a 6.73-inch OLED LTPO display that also has a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWN dimming, 1600 nits peak brightness level, and curved edges. While this variant continues to feature 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, it comes with smaller internal storage space though at 256GB.
When it comes to photography, the non-Pro variant of Magic5 features a 54MP primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera together with a 32MP telephoto camera that offers 2.5x optical and 50x digital zoom capabilities. Just like its Pro counterpart, this model also has a 32MP selfie camera but without the 3D depth sensor. Similarly, the standard Magic5 has also been equipped with a 5100mAh battery that supports HONOR SuperCharge technology at up to 66W for wired charging. However, HONOR has omitted the wireless charging support from this model though.
When it comes to pricing, the Magic5 Pro can be obtained in Malaysia for RM4,299 while the standard Magic5 goes for RM3,499.
