Twitter only supports static image NFTs, i.e., JPEG and PNG. Only NFTs minted on the Ethereum blockchain (like ERC-721 and ERC-1155) are supported. The NFT will instantly become your Twitter profile picture. Notably, it will be seen in a hexagon shape, indicating that you are the owner of the NFT.
