Included in his post on Chinese social media platform Weibo is a single image (shown above) that allegedly depicts the rear design of the OPPO Find X6 Pro. Unlike the standard variant, the phone is revealed to feature a large circular camera bump, along with a rear panel that sports two-tone leather-like finish. This is reminiscent of the Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition from two years ago, but this time in lighter colours. And while that this model’s bump is still considerably huge, it does appear far less jarring than the rectangular island on the non-Pro variant. Hardware specifications of this particular variant are mostly unknown at this time, though it is likely to pack the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip as the standard model, but with a higher memory configuration instead. It’s possible that the OPPO Find X6 Pro might share the same display type as its sibling, therefore also featuring curved edges and a punch-hole cutout for its front-facing camera. Imaging-wise, Ice Universe did suggest prior to this that the Pro model will exclusively feature the Sony IMX 989 1-inch 50 MP sensor for its primary camera, therefore making it a direct competitor to other flagships such as the Xiaomi 13 Pro and the vivo X90 Pro, which are also equipped with the same sensor. Additionally, the leakster said that accompanying the phone’s primary camera is a 50 MP ultra-wide and a 32 MP periscoped telephoto. OPPO still has yet to reveal any plans to unveil the OPPO Find X6 line up. Seeing that its predecessor launched in China sometime in the middle of February 2022, there’s a chance that the brand may officially lift the drape off its next-generation flagship series around the same time this year.
