In February this year, 9to5Mac reported that iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in a new dark red color option. Now, a leaker who posted information on the Chinese social media website Weibo has corroborated the report and has divulged another cooler option for iPhone 15 series. The leaker says that Apple is working on a green color option for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. These leaks seem reliable because the Weibo account that posted this information is the same account that accurately predicted the purple color option in iPhone 14 series. He also wrote on Weibo last year that iPhone 14 Pro would arrive with a slightly redesigned camera flash cutout and that came out to be true when the iPhone launched. Describing the new color option for the upcoming iPhone 15 series, the leaker says the dark red color mentioned by 9to5Mac is more of a crimson shade. The color might be a little lighter than the deep purple shade offered by Apple in iPhone 14 Pro series but “still very deep”.
Green color returns to standard iPhone models
Whereas, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is expected to arrive in an exclusive green color option this year if the leaker is to be believed. This green color will be “close to the green of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11”. We have already seen iPhones in mint green color in iPhone 13 series. If we add up previous reliable rumors to today’s leaks, we are set to see iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus in three new color options this year – Light Blue, Pink, and now Green. As per several rumors, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a titanium chassis, which makes the colors of Pro models an exciting affair. Apple has previously used Titanium in Apple Watch and offers different coating options including space black and natural. This is the first time when Apple would be launching Titanium-made iPhones. Since we are just two months away from Apple’s Fall event where the new iPhones will be announced, Apple might have already started the production of new iPhones. Apple’s color choice for new iPhones remains to be seen.
