Yogesh Brar shared on Twitter that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate which will be paired with the 3.4-inch HD AMOLED secondary screen. The latter of which we’ve seen earlier last month. For the cameras that go with it, the leakster claims that it will be a pair of 12MP shooters.
– Main: 6.7" FHD+ AMOLED, 120Hz– Outer: 3.4" HD AMOLED– Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC– 8GB RAM– 128/256GB storage– 12MP + 12MP main camera– Android 13, OneUI 5.1– 3,700mAh battery, 25W charging Launch: 26th/27th July Price: $999 (expected) — Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) June 7, 2023 On the inside, we may see the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 8GB of RAM, a choice of 128GB and 256GB of storage space, and a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W charging. The operating system is, naturally, OneUI5.1 based on Android 13. For the most part, these are along the lines of what we mostly expect to see anyway, with the only major upgrade from a specs standpoint being the chipset. For the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, the leakster puts 26 and 27 July as the possible dates. This lines up with not only the confirmed time window for the company’s Unpacked event, but also the date that was shared by an anonymous insider, according to a prior report by Korean news outlet Chosun Ilbo. Finally, there’s the price that’s claimed to the US$999 (~RM4,614). This sort of lines up with the price of the Flip4 when it was first launched, with the 128GB model launching at the time for US$999.99. As for whether any of this is accurate, it won’t be too long before we find out. With the confirmation that the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event being at the end of next month, another substantial leak will have to come from an official launch presentation slide, like the one for the Motorola Razr that got released too early.
