The first offer is the Hotlink Postpaid 60 plan, which provides 50GB of high-speed data along with unlimited calls and SMS. Initially, the package only came with a 40GB quota but the cap was permanently increased by 10GB in February.
As you can guess from the name, the plan costs RM60 per month but for government staff, they will be eligible for a RM10 monthly rebate for 24 months. At a net price of RM50 per month, this puts the savings at RM240 for those eligible for the rebate. For general customers, those who sign up for Hotlink Postpaid 60 can currently get a RM20 monthly rebate for five months, totalling RM100. The second plan being offered for civil servants is the Maxis Postpaid 98 plan, which provides 60GB of high-speed data along with unlimited calls and SMS. Additionally, the package also offers unlimited roaming data from RM29 per day, free access to Sooka’s VIP+Sports streaming plan, and free 30-day access to Viu and iQiyi. Maxis Postpaid 98 usually costs RM98 per month but with the government staff promo, eligible customers will get a RM30 monthly rebate for 24 months, totalling RM720 in savings. If you’re not a civil servant, fret not as all new sign-ups of the plan can currently get RM20 monthly rebates for 24 months, which equates to a total of RM480 in rebates. For those who need a new phone with their civil servant plan, Maxis is also offering phone bundles from as low as RM10 on contract. It offers devices from brands such as Samsung, realme, OPPO, and HONOR. For more information, you can check out the Maxis offer page for civil servants. (Source: Maxis)
