The leakster in question is Roland Quandt, who has also shared a number of said images to the public via German tech news site WinFuture. There’s a slight hint of irony there, as the country currently has a sales ban on the brand due to a court ruling that found it and OPPO guilty of not paying to use Nokia’s 5G patents in the country. Going back to the phone, the official images of the OnePlus Nord 3 looks identical to what we have already seen before. As in, it is very similar, if not outright identical on the outside, to the phone launched as the Ace 2V in the brand’s home market of China. Though this batch of images shows that the phone will be coming in two pretty standard colourways, which are black and white. On specifications, the report mentions the same rumoured 6.74-inch 2,772 x 1,240 120Hz AMOLED display and the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. Maximum RAM is also rated at 16GB, but this report notes that storage will be limited to 256GB, as opposed to 512GB from the previous leak. Battery looks to be consistent, with a 5,000mAh capacity and 80W charging rate. Ditto the main camera, which is said to be a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP setup. All that’s left is for OnePlus to announce a launch date of the Nord 3. With the signs pointing to an imminent unveiling on our shores, as well as in Europe, one can hope for a simultaneous launch in both regions, or more realistically, for it to be available here shortly after Europe.
