Like its sibling, the A17k packs a notched 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1612 pixel resolution, up to 600 nits brightness, and features Panda Glass protection. On the right hand side is a fingerprint scanner, while situated on the bottom is a speaker grille and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. For this variant, accompanying its octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset is a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, and expanded storage support via microSD card. It also has an onboard RAM expansion feature that allows you to convert up to 4 GB of storage into an equivalent amount of RAM, should you need an extra boost in performance. The phone runs on Android 12 via OPPO’s ColorOS 12.1 platform, and features up to 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Additionally, it comes with an industry standard 5,000 mAh battery, but does not support any fast charging capabilities. For videos and photography, found on the back of the OPPO A17k is a lone 8 MP f/2.2 primary camera that can shoot 1080p videos at 30 fps. Meanwhile, housed within the notch on its display is a 5 MP f/2.2 front-facing camera.
