So what exactly is new with the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro? The answer is this new model comes with head-tracking AI tech. With the help of the equipped IR camera, the Pro model soundbar tracks your position of your head. From there, the soundbar’s beamforming tech directs the sound it makes toward your direction specifically. The idea is that you’ll always be in the sweet spot, even if you shift your sitting position in front of the soundbar. These new bits of tech will also let the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro provide two modes of 3D audio. One is what the company calls the THX Spatial Audio Virtual Headset which, as the name suggests, focuses on mimicking the binaural audio output of a pair of headphones. The other, called the THX Spatial Audio Virtual Speakers, is the more conventional virtual 7.1 setup, with the added benefit of the head-tracking and beamforming tech. Razer says that the Leviathan V2 Pro is the first soundbar in the world to feature both head-tracking AI tech as well as beamforming. Beyond that, it is mostly identical to the existing Leviathan V2 model. That being said, you can expect the new tech to come at a premium. The company says that this Pro model soundbar will be available starting January, with a price of US$399.99 (~RM1758). It’s not yet listed on the local Razer online store site, but we’ll let you know when we hear more from the company. (Source: Razer)
