The Redmagic 4K gaming monitor sports a flat 27-inch IPS LCD panel that features over 2,000 Mini LEDs with 1,152 lighting partitions, 16:9 aspect ratio, 3840 x 2160 resolution, from 48 Hz up to 160 Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 1.7 ms ultra-low latency. It also has a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, a colour output of 1.07 billion, 99% DCI-P3 with VESA Display HDR 1000, AMD Freesync Premium, and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. For the most part, the display is minimalist in appearance, with slim bezels on its sides and a clean V-shaped stand. Meanwhile, flipping it over to its back will reveal aesthetics that’s more in-line with gaming; complete with panellings and an RGB lighting system. The stand also lets the screen be rotated 90-degrees clockwise or anti-clockwise, giving gamers a choice between landscape or portrait orientations. Besides that, the Redmagic 4K gaming monitor offers a variety of scene modes, including Movie, FPS and MOBA, which automatically adjusts colour saturation and contrast accordingly to enhance your viewing experience when gaming or enjoying films. Another useful feature is the Millimeter-wave (mmWave) wireless projection technology, which allows users to seamlessly cast their mobile device’s screen onto the monitor with zero to little latency. For physical connections, the display carries a single HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-C, a USB-A, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Its Type-C port can also be used to charge compatible devices such as smartphones and so on. The new Redmagic 4K gaming monitor is slated to be available in Malaysia from 4 April 2023 onwards for RM 3,999, exclusively via the brand’s official store on Shopee. Additionally, the company notes that the display will be offered at a special price on launch day, but the exact value has yet to be determined. (Source: Redmagic Malaysia press release)
