Spotted by tipster Kevin Ng TK, the Galaxy M14 seems to have already been listed in the SIRIM database with the model number SM-M146B/DSN. The certification was given just a few days ago on 7 April and with this listing, a local launch is likely imminent.
The Galaxy M14 sports a 6.6-inch 1080p PLS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a tear drop notch for the front camera. Despite the phone being in the entry-level category, it offers 5G support, alongside NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and even a 3.5mm headphone jack. Under the hood, it runs on Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1330 chipset and is paired with 4GB of RAM. For storage, it comes with either 64GB or 128GB options as well as a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The back of the phone features three cameras consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The battery is the most interesting offering of this phone as it is powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery that charges at a speed of 15W. The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G ships with One UI 5 based on Android 13 and comes with navy blue, light blue, and silver colour options, although it’s uncertain which colours will be offered here. While we don’t know the official local price yet, we can use the phone’s pricing in Ukraine as a reference. The base 4GB+64GB model costs UAH8,299 (~RM999) while the 4GB+128GB variant is priced at UAH8,999 (~RM1,085) (Source: Kevin Ng TK/Twitter)
