To mark the occasion, Samsung Malaysia kicked off the launch roadshow for the Galaxy S23 Series all weekend long. There are four different locations in total including the one we visited here in 1 Utama Shopping Mall at Bandar Utama as well as Gurney Plaza Penang, Aeon Tebrau City Johor, and Vivacity Megamall Kuching.
As part of the launch rollout, all purchases of Samsung Galaxy S23 Series devices from now until 31 March 2023 will be provided with a Samsung Galaxy Watch5 40mm smartwatch while stocks last. Just to be clear though, this particular free gift is widely available throughout Malaysia including at the launch roadshows locations. Aside from that, there is also the Purchase With Purchase (PWP) promotion which allows customers to obtain discounts of up to 30% on selected Galaxy accessories, wearables, hearables, and Tab S8 Series tablets. Customers can also obtain the Samsung Care+ protection plan at 30% off when they get their hands on any of the new Galaxy S23 Series devices.
By now, you may have also heard of the highly discussed Buy 1 Get 1 trade-in promo which is made specifically for owners of previous Ultra-class devices such as Galaxy S22 Ultra, S21 Ultra, and Note20 Ultra. There is also the standard Samsung Trade In program for other Galaxy models and non-Samsung devices out there which can be stacked at up to five devices in selected Samsung Experience Stores and Authorised Retailers. As noted earlier, the majority of the Galaxy S23 Series launch promo we noted above can be obtained outside of this weekend’s roadshow locations as well. The roadshow does have an extra advantage though, in the form of Spin & Win in which customers are able to get themselves an extra free gift.
During our visit, Samsung Malaysia’s representatives pointed to us that all Spin & Win participants will come home with at least a Samsung 35W PD Power Adapter Duo. Other prizes that are listed on the wheel include a 50-inch AU7700 4K UHD Smart TV, 32-inch Smart Monitor M5, and Galaxy Tab S7 FE. In addition to that, Samsung Malaysia has also set up Bespoke Studio at the roadshow which is open to all Galaxy owners that want to “bling” out their devices. The company is also giving away Samsung e-Voucher worth RM50 to visitors that share photos or videos from the roadshow on their social media.
Of course, the main objective of the launch roadshow is to provide an interactive platform for the general public to have hands-on experience with the Galaxy S23 Series, especially its Nightography capabilities and high-performance nature. As mentioned earlier, the four Galaxy S23 Series launch roadshows in Bandar Utama, Penang, Johor Bahru, and Kuching will last until tomorrow, 26 February. Meanwhile, don’t forget to check out our full review of the series’ top-end offering, the Galaxy S23 Ultra right here. If you are more interested in the vanilla or the Plus variant, then do give our initial hands-on experience with both models a go right here.
