The first stage of this partnership will allow BLACK app users to access the bank’s products such as credit cards and personal loans. While the overall project has just been revealed, XOX has actually allowed users to apply for the bank’s credit cards and personal loans through the app since April. In the second stage of this project, the telco said that users would be able to make daily transactions through the BLACK app with an integrated virtual credit card. As of now, XOX has not clarified when the second phase will be commenced or which Alliance Bank credit cards will be offered in virtual form. Currently, the physical cards being offered through the app include the Alliance Bank Visa Platinum card, the Visa Signature Card, and the Visa Infinite card. To be eligible to apply, applicants must be at least 21 years old with a minimum gross monthly income of RM2,000 or a minimum annual salary of RM24,000. Additionally, there is an ongoing campaign whereby users who apply for any of these credit cards or personal loans through the app and get approved will be eligible to receive several rewards, including BLACK MARKET vouchers, Watsons vouchers, and data vouchers. The campaign is running from 1 April 2023 until 30 June 2023. To apply for any of the products or services mentioned, you will need to download the BLACK app and go to the finance section. To be eligible for the rewards, you must apply within the campaign period and be approved by 15 July 2023 at the latest. (Source: Bernama)
